Here's a question for Rex Murphy: Where do we stop developing, improving, enhancing, increasing the human environment? Since the oil sands are a 'triumph' does that mean we should always take every opportunity to develop every resource we can get? Every mine should be dug, every forest cut, every fish harvested, every well drilled? After all, all of that meaningful work will lead to better lives for the workers.
